Launch is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to qualified individuals with disabilities. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state/local laws, reasonable accommodations will be provided to employees with known physical or mental limitations, unless doing so would impose an undue hardship on Launch’s operations.
A reasonable accommodation is any change or adjustment to a job, the work environment, or the way things are customarily done that allows an individual with a disability to apply for a job, perform job duties, or enjoy equal employment opportunities and benefits of employment.
Requesting an Accommodation
Any employee or applicant for employment who requires an accommodation should submit their request to the Senior Director of Finance. All requests should include details on the specific accommodation(s) requested and supporting medical documentation. Advance notice may be required to allow sufficient time to make the accommodation.
Interactive Process
Upon receiving an accommodation request, Launch will enter into an interactive process with the employee/applicant to determine if the individual meets the ADA definition of disabled, and identify any reasonable accommodations. This process promotes open communication to clarify the individual's abilities and job requirements. Medical information will be kept confidential.
Final Reasonable Accommodation decisions will be made and communicated in writing. If an accommodation is approved, it will be effective immediately unless otherwise specified. If denied, the reasons will be explained.
Launch is committed to complying fully with the ADA and ensuring equal employment opportunities. Employees are encouraged to promptly request accommodations and cooperate fully in any interactive process. Discrimination or retaliation against those requesting accommodations is strictly prohibited.
