From time to time Launch might ask you to work beyond your normally scheduled hours. Launch asks that all employees perform this work when requested. Overtime compensation is paid to non-exempt employees in accordance with federal and state wage and hour restrictions. Overtime is payable for all hours worked over 40 per week at a rate of one and one-half times the non-exempt employee's regular hourly rate.

For the purposes of this policy, Launch’s pay week is Monday – Sunday. Time off on vacation, personal time, holidays, or any leave of absence will not be considered hours worked when calculating overtime.

All overtime work performed by an hourly employee must receive prior authorization by their Supervisor or Executive Director. Overtime worked without proper advance authorization may result in disciplinary action. Once a supervisor has approved overtime, the supervisor is responsible for notifying the Director of Finance in writing prior to payment being made.
